Our Program

What are the benefits of study at Kids' Community Strings? Take a look!

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Kids' Community Strings' goal is to provide students with high level Suzuki or Ramos Method violin training at a low-cost fee.

*Our program offers only violin lessons at this time

Parent Education Classes

Six weekly one-on-one Parent Education Classes between the Instructor and parent occur before the student begins lessons

A Young Starting Age

Beginning violin students start between the ages of 4 - 5 years old

Weekly Private Lessons

The program offers weekly individual lessons with their instructor (parents must be available to attend each private lesson)

Parental Involvement

Parents attend all lessons and practice every day with their child at home

Skill-based

All students learn violin skills through the Suzuki or Ramos Method repertoire

Listening

Students listen to their listening albums every day, as often as possible

Group Classes

Group classes occur every Thursday evening

Solo Recitals & Group Concerts

Students get to perform in solo recitals and group concerts many times throughout the school year

Violin Rentals

Our goal is to provide a violin at low-cost to those who do not already have one

Long-term Training

Once in the program, students can continue their violin study through high school
